The Nautical Institute hosts Maritime Attachés
The International Maritime Organization is in session this week, hosting the sub-Committee on Human element, Training and Watchkeeping.
Reinforcing our global role in the provision of continuing professional development (CPD), seafarer certification and the promotion of high professional standards, The Nautical Institute was honoured to host yesterday's morning coffee session for the Maritime Attachés and delegates from over 100 maritime nations.
Our headquarters staff seized this opportunity to highlight our global branch network which sees members of The Nautical Institute gather regularly in over 50 countries, providing seafarers with outstanding professional collaboration opportunities as well as a superb network of colleagues.
We also highlighted to delegates that The Nautical Institute accredits maritime training centres in over 30 countries, delivering a high and consistent quality of maritime training together with industry-recognised certification.
Our publishing team displayed (and sold) many books from of our range of professional publications and our research team reminded delegates that The Nautical Institute is the perfect partner of choice for maritime research that involves seafarers.
The Nautical institute remains honoured to be an accredited non-governmental organization (NGO) with consultative status at the IMO, where we continue to advocate on behalf of all our members.
