Captain Chris O’Flaherty joins our team

We are delighted to announce a new arrival to our Projects and Relationships team.

Captain Chris O’Flaherty AFNI has joined the team as Senior Technical Advisor to work with us and our volunteers at the IMO and other international fora to coordinate our efforts to drive positive impact in the industry, including sharing knowledge and expertise from the maritime community around the world.  

Having served in the Royal Navy in roles ranging from Navigating Officer to Command and in ships of varying size from minesweeper to aircraft carrier, Chris is a highly experienced mariner and diplomat. He has worked in specialist areas including maritime law, human resources, training, regulatory and foreign policy and maritime management operations.
