Achieving Effective Simulation
How can the maritime industry ensure it gets the most out of simulator training?
Simulator technology has revolutionised the training of seafarers, but how do we ensure simulator time is effectively integrated into training programmes and the latest industry best practice is being used?
The Nautical Institute and the Singapore Maritime Academy (SMA) will host a unique event on 28 November, combining a conference with hands-on sessions in the SMA’s state of the art simulator centre. The interactive event will use workshops, a facility tour, round table discussions, and expert presentations to find the most effective applications of simulator training with an eye on cost effectiveness and measurable training outcomes.
Tickets for the event are just SGD 30 for the conference and SGD 50 for the conference and evening reception. The event is open to everyone from trainees encountering simulation for the first time to educators, course designers, legislators and employers, this event will produce actionable recommendations for simulator training and give attendees a unique opportunity to shape maritime training.
