UK Offshore Wind 2024
The Danish Embassy and the Danish-UK Association are proud to announce the 12th Annual UK Offshore Wind Conference.
The UK government has committed to increasing the proportion of energy generated from renewables in order to fully decarbonise the electricity system by 2030. As a key part of achieving this target, the Government has pledged to quadruple offshore wind power production in the UK by the end of the decade.
Earlier this year, the Climate Change Committee concluded that the number of new offshore wind installations each year would need to be trebled, if the UK was going to meet its net zero target.
This year’s conference – Offshore Wind 2024 – at the Danish Embassy in London looks at the framework in place to deliver this, the upcoming offshore wind projects, as well as the technological advances needed scale deployment and reduce costs.
