About the event:

The Lecture presents the C4FF’s work on their ongoing initiative, Safety@Sea, focusing on an EU funded project, OPTIMISM and an IUK funded project, Emergency@Sea VR which concerns the development of training programmes to help implement ISM Code effectively and improve its effectiveness. This initiative includes several ‘safety at sea’ projects including a virtual reality training programme for safe entry into confined spaces in ships supported by Solent University.
